Well my girl, I never knew. Just how autistic, uh, I mean, artistic, you are. You know that comes from our side of the family. heh heh. Oh, crying in response to your work is a very good thing. I know good when I FEEL it. I'm a good judge of that sort of thing. Honest too. I'll never snow you just to make you feel good. Love you.

REPLY: *gread hug of graitude* thank you so much. :) i love you, too, and i thank you for your support. ;P I didn't want ta say it too loud over here, but i think you're right about where it comes from... hehehe!!

Hey, sorry I didn't reply sooner (we had a busy weekend), but thank you so much! :) As far as my favorite work.... uhm.... heh.. it varies. I like both pencil and oil pastels, but for very different reasons. Pencils I love because I can show detail, shading is never ambiguous, and you only have to work with light and dark. Oil pastels are wonderfully messy, can give a painterly quality to pieces, and it's all about chunks of color, which I personally feel is more representative of emotion rather than perfection (heh... whaddya know, the two sides of reality...). But I thank you for your comment on Moon Dancer. That's the favorite so far. As for making you cry... well, i'm not quite sure what to say. Thanks, i guess. *biiiig hug* :)

Oh my, Alma, I love your work. Looks sort of mixed media. What's you're favorite to work in? You should tell more about your work, is it charcoal, oils? I love Moon Dancer. Makes me wanna cry.

It's true I showed him the law!

POSTED: 2-6-05 2:46 PM     BY: zymurgy

Did you know . . . The alpaca (a variety of llama) appears to be the most popular four-legged bedmate for many single Peruvian guys. So prevalent, apparently, is this sexual deviance that an old law still outlaws the activity. Unmarried young men are prohibited from even having a female alpaca live in their homes or apartments

Hey? When's it not good to be you?

POSTED: 1-23-05 2:43 PM     BY: Gard

aww!!! We love you too Rose. And soon you will love us because you're "becoming". Slowly you will "become" one of us. And the man in the bar with the wooden leg spoke in cold breathes of the terrors of the nights before, "Late last night and the night before, Tommyknockers, Tommyknockers, knocking at the door Wanna go out don't know if I can Cuz he's pulled the shades, that smiling Tommyknocker man"

lmao... cheery... that's funny. yeah, I saw the reciepts in your junk mail, I sorted them for you. :) And there is one by julieta venegas (i was wondering who she was...), you got the 4-song ep, and three full-length Cafe Tacuba albums. You'll have to share the two I don't have with me!!! I want. Except for that "chilanga banda" one, it's still freaky.

POSTED: 1-22-05 9:14 AM     BY: entropic_dissimulation

i havent heard it yet but i ordered the 3 tacuba cds yesterday...or maybe it was four and one by julieta venegas i dont know who she is but she sounded "cheery" so i picked it up.

i'm concerned about everything, really: just ask the people who know me best about my concern for wildlife and the environment. but i think we should all pitch in for Asia, because these are people like us struck by something they can't control. I hope for better warning systems for them, but that takes time and money, and it's enevitable that donators will begin to forget about them. It's sad, but I want to keep awareness up as much as I can... small site though this is. I welcome all visitors.

POSTED: 1-9-05 7:21 AM

i'm glad to see your concern for the tsunami victims, last i checked the death toll was counted at 155,000 and rising. That was last week.
